Summers End

Title Screen Animation

For the opening title screen, I used a masked line reveal to animate the title as if it were being written on.

To make the transition feel more seamless, I also extended the sky background so the title reveal would flow directly into the first animated scene, creating a smooth visual handoff between the title and the start of the story.

"Summers End" is this heartwarming animation that beautifully captures the final precious moments of summer shared by two best buddies, Katie and Cal. Unfortunately, they're facing a tough goodbye because Katie's moving away. This touching animation was masterfully produced and animated by Zoe Slisher. I was absolutely thrilled to join this project and lend a hand with compositing some of their shots. I got to incorporate my motion graphics skills to really bring out the magic in the fantastic animation they'd already put together. It was an amazing experience!
